Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS), Scottish Council on Deafness (SCoD) and Voluntary Action Scotland have produced a report on the Third Sector Consultation Event on the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, which took place on Friday 16th June. 

The event began with three presentations: firstly from the Scottish Human Rights Commission (SHRC) who introduced the National Action Plan, then Helen Macneil, Chief Executive of GCVS, gave the third sector perspective, and Carol Ewart, a public policy and human rights consultant lent her expertise to the discussion. Following this, the event broke out into discussion groups to give participants an opportunity to further explore the themes, and to identify potential challenges and opportunities that the Scottish National Action Plan may present.
