The 2017 TSI Network National Conference took place on Wednesday 25th October and Thursday 26th October 2017 at the Westerwood Hotel near Cumbernauld.

It was a really great event with over 250 people attending and contributing, plus 40 organisations joining us across 2 keynotes and 25 workshops and seminars. We would like to say a huge thank-you to all delegates, contributors, speakers and to our sponsors, OSCR, Big Lottery Fund Scotland and NHS Health Scotland.

This year’s event focused on what’s core to all Third Sector Interfaces: Leading Empowerment Locally. There were workshops and discussions on the unique role and purpose of TSIs to connect people and partners locally; to build local third sector capacity; to develop local social capital; and to engage and amplify the voice of the local third sector.

We’ve used feedback from workshops, seminars and evaluations to capture a short conference summary and a flavour of the conversations and discussion that took place. You can read it here

[This year’s Conference] “enabled a wealth of sharing knowledge and ideas – really useful both in making a difference locally and nationally as a collective. Great to catch up with colleagues from the network and reflect upon what we have achieved and key ideas for the future.”
