Midlothian Third Sector Interface (TSI) brings together in partnership three organisations which are committed to developing a strong Third Sector: Volunteer Midlothian; Midlothian Voluntary Action and Social Enterprise Midlothian.
The Midlothian Interface was established as part of an initiative to realign Scotlandâ€™s infrastructure organisations, to ensure a single identifiable third sector structure within each Scottish local authority. The aim was to create a more coherent, effective integration of Scotlandâ€™s Third Sector within Community Planning Partnerships and Single Outcome Agreement structures and delivery.
By working together in partnership, the three members of Midlothian TSI aim to promote and develop volunteering; support and develop a strong Third Sector; encourage the development of social enterprises and strengthen the relationship between the third sector and the community planning process.
