Midlothian Third Sector Interface (TSI) brings together in partnership three organisations which are committed to developing a strong Third Sector: Volunteer Midlothian; Midlothian Voluntary Action and Social Enterprise Midlothian.
The Midlothian Interface was established as part of an initiative to realign Scotland’s infrastructure organisations, to ensure a single identifiable third sector structure within each Scottish local authority. The aim was to create a more coherent, effective integration of Scotland’s Third Sector within Community Planning Partnerships and Single Outcome Agreement structures and delivery.
By working together in partnership, the three members of Midlothian TSI aim to promote and develop volunteering; support and develop a strong Third Sector; encourage the development of social enterprises and strengthen the relationship between the third sector and the community planning process.
