This SENSCOT and Voluntary Action Scotland joint event to support TSI social enterprise practice will bring together members of the Social Enterprise Coordinators Network along with officers from across the TSI Network.
The event will aim to support TSIs in addressing challenges and issues around procurement and Public Social Partnership models and will include input from The Ready for Business Consortium which is delivering The Developing Markets for Third Sector Providers programme. It was established to:
- Improve the profile of third sector suppliers with the public sector buying community and thereby open markets.
- Strengthen understanding and application of Community Benefits in Procurement.
- Encourage routine use of co-production in the design of public services and development of Public-Social Partnerships.
An update and overview of national Support available to social enterprises from the ‘Support Social Enterprise Partnership’ will be provided.
